Jan Klimkowski produced and directed over a dozen highly popular documentaries for the BBC. Their subjects ranged from the use of hypothermia in cutting-edge medicine, Raising The Dead, through the discovery of a great lost civilization on the far side of the Andes mountains, Secrets of the Cloud People, to finding a scientific solution for the paranormal puzzle of Spontaneous Human Combustion. He also explored the Britie-and-hate affair with Marks and Spencer in M&S and Me, and exposed the manipulation of global financial markets in The Great Dot.Con. Two of his films were in the Top Ten Highest Audience Science documentaries broadcast between 1998-2002 - both achieving audiences of more than six million viewers. He has made films about medicine, science, archaeology, history, business and politics, and has fantastic archaeological contacts in Peru. |
